The DH Berm! Oh boy!
This self centered behavior shows just how one bad act can help the public
and government brand a whole user group in a negative light. Ignorance of
the past also feeds into humans repeating blunders from minor to
catastrophic. *This type of unauthorized building or Strava records of
riding trails in closed areas does not help.* I doubt the builder will
make it right. It will probably be NWTA volunteers.
This is a perfect time to remind people to at least JOIN NWTA as they work
on so many areas that you want to / do ride as well as workin to get this
back open to riding. So many places you ride! Membership numbers and dues
help them do this for us. They are working a new partnership to open
trails in the Coastal area around Cannon Beach.
