Remember most promoters reserve the right to kick folks out of their race, or to not accept a persons registration.
I'd suggest that if a promoter thinks a person or team, or group or people or what ever, are being bad, well then don't let them race your race the next time around.
Can you imagine being told you're not welcome at PIR? The Track? A weekly series? a yearly race you like, or love, or event sort of enjoy a little.
Please remember friends that racing your bicycle is not a right, it is a priviledge. And when was the last time YOU put on a race?

Please do not mention team as creating a scene when it happens to be one or two individuals that were involved. I do not agree at all that this is the right media to aired this issue.
Thank You Mike Adams

Please see the note I got below about some of the problems at ETT. Seems
like we should take some punitive action against a team that is so
disruptive.
Candi
Subject: Some things never change
Hi Candi,
I arrived at the registration table today to find an uproar
in progress. One member of the Corbin Hunt Aire team had
created such stress that several of the Bosen family
VOLUNTEERS could not function in critical jobs, such as
registration and start sheets, time critical jobs. One was
crying and had to be comforted to get back on track. The
disruptive person, George Schreck, I am told by several of
the race staff and competitors, was insisting on changing
all the start intervals from one minute to 30 seconds, and
the schedule of fields, to suit his personal needs, and all
his insisting was in a VERY LOUD and aggravating manner.
These changes to the race program first of all were not
possible as the staff assembled were set up to do one minute
starts. This is common at many other time trials in OBRA
land. Also, such a late change to basic race conditions is
not only difficult, it is unfair to the other racers and is
rarely if ever attempted. In my short conversation with
this rider, no reasonable issue for the changes was
mentioned, nothing that warranted the situation he caused,
just his personal issues and desires.
At the time of my arrival, another race entrant from a
different team was doing damage control with the volunteer
staff, doing his best to sooth and calm these very nice
people after the prior unnecessary and totally inappropriate
conduct they experienced. For this I thank him(I don't know
his name). My first task at the race as Chief Judge was to
deal with this problem. I had to take valuable time to do
get my staff back to their job. Despite this distration,
the Bosen family was able to get the event started with race
time only five minutes after real time.
After registration was closed, a different Corbin Hunt Aire
rider came forward and said he was not doing a second ride
and asked for a refund of his fee. He was told by the
promoter that they do not refund entries, basic policy.
Again, in a LOUD VOICE, this Corbin Hunt Aire rider let the
staff know his opinion of the event.
I find it disconcerting that this team, the Corbin Hunt Aire
team, was the only team making ANY COMPLAINT at the event.
I find it ridiculous to see event bashing by the Corbin Hunt
Aire team on the OBRA remailer, especially after I allowed
this team of poor sports to change some start time slots. I
did this basically to bury their boorish behavior and allow
my staff to get on with the event.
Many other riders commented to me and to the Bosen family
that they were very embarrassed by this whole situation.
All the other competitors registered, started and RACED.
Only Corbin Hunt Aire was out of line.
As you are aware, I stepped forward to work this event at a
very late date despite my busy schedule. If I were
officiating
regularly this year, the Corbin Hunt Aire team would have a
very difficult time getting any sort of relief from me
again.
Tom
Chief Judge
