Good morning, my name is Jane Brody.? I realize this may be a very odd
email, but I'm writing to you because I am looking for cyclists and
commuters to cast in a series of nationally televised commercials for
Quaker Oats.? I am specifically looking for groups of friends and/or
families who love oatmeal and who would come and talk about it.? We
are also seeing groups of children, ages 8-11, again with families
and/or friends who cycle. We need physically fit people who include
oatmeal as a part of their life style.
We are not interested in seeing actors, our entire campaign is based
on "real people"? The director is the Academy award winning director,
Errol Morris who won this year in the best documentary category for
his film on Robert McNamara.
I will be in Portland on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, April 30-May
2, and hope to meet with some of your members.? Groups will be seen by
appointment only.
There is no cost at any time for your participation in this casting
process.? And those cast would be very well paid for their
time, All commercials are produced under the Screen Actor's Guild
