I've still got a 53cm VanDessel County Road Bob SS
which would be easy to make into a fixie.
The bike is essentially new and has a bunch of great
parts.
It can be viewed at CyclePath (behind the old Standard
Dairy/Billy Reed's on MLK).
Complete Bike: $850. Will also consider selling
frame/fork and many of the parts separately.

Hello all,
The race promoters for Swan Island Crit, on Sunday
May 23rd, have penciled
in a fixed gear race at the Crit this year. We are
looking to see how many
people would be interested spinning their little
legs out. The race would
be 30 minutes + 1 lap. To start the race a pace
bike would lead out the
group for one lap and bring everybody up to speed
to about 18-20 MPH. Under
OBRA rules you would need to have 2 brakes, front
and back. Any takers?
