This is the last week for the Time Trial out in Coburg. The weather is
looking to be a super nice afternoon and perfect conditions for racing.
This week you can do a ITT or a TTT but not both.
I want to extend a big thank you to all my volunteers who have been able to
come out and make the event a big success. As well as to all the racers that
have braved the past couple weeks of less-than-perfect weather.
We will be doing the awards after the race at Track Town Pizza, they have
great pizza and beer and have donated some pizzas to give away as prizes. To
get to Track Town, take I-5 south to exit 194B follow to the first exit and
take Coburg road south over the Willamette River. Stay left and follow
Coburg road onto Franklin Blvd, follow Franklin approx 2 1/2 miles past the
UofO. Track town is on the North side of the road and you have to go past
them to just before the Car dealer stop light and make a U-Turn. The address
is 1809 Franklin Blvd.
Awards will be awarded to the following categories first: Men 1/2, Men 3,
Men 4/5, Men 40+, Men 50+, Women 4. If I have enough I will distribute them
to the other categories. Every class will receive points which is based on
the final standings.
Depending on the amount of participants this week we hope to be there
starting things by 8:30PM. So when you get done with your race, head on over
and get some pizza and relax.
The main prizes will be awarded via a raffle set-up, in an effort to
encourage consistency raffle tickets will be sold for $2.00 to all riders
that participate in 3 or more events, limit 2 tickets per participant - 2
ticket option available if you participate in 6 events or more. You will be
able to purchase the tickets at the awards presentation for each series. The
drawing will take place after the last Hill Climb at Track Town Pizza after
awards.
Prizes for the raffle will include:
RENN Multisport has donated a rear Disc Time Trial wheel, retail value of
$400.
Profile Design has donated one of their top of the line Time Trial
handlebars.
Burley Bicycles has donated a cool Nomad Trailer.
Awards for top placing in the categories will be provided by the following

OBRA Points: Points are awarded based on racer placing at end of each series
not per race. OBRA license required, 1 day license and annual licenses
available at event during registration. Rules of the road do apply, the one
stop sign on the Flat TT course will have a flagger so riders do not have to
stop.

you can ride from Eugene (3 miles) it would be best.
Start at the Grange, Finish approx 150 feet before stop sign before Fox
Hollow , just past road off to the right.
