As I am sure most of you Cat 4/5 are aware. Your decision to do an extra

lap was not official. We finished you all on the lap after the bell.

Please be aware that the officials make that decision not you. What should

have happened was to allow the pass on the back side, give the 1/2/3's room

to permit you to sprint. You could of easily done that after the last turn.

neutralizing, and slow down' didn't you understand? I hope this group

decision (need?) to do an extra lap doesn't become a regular thing.

It was a nice evening for racing and the turn out was

great! I'm sure everyone appreciates all the work that

Jim Anderson and OBRA put into it, I know I do.



I don't know what it is about the neutral part that

some people just don't get. As much as it's been

discussed here on the list serve and repeated, time

and again by the race officials, there always seems to

be a two or three guys that just don't get it. Neutral

means: keep left, moderate speed, no changing of

position and don't use the passing group as a "free

ride" to attack. I think the rest of us just need to

take note of numbers and report them to the officials

at the end of the race.



Maybe those guys don't read the list serve and don't

listen at the races?
