RE: PIR Tuesday - another question : competitors of

Schreck, George

Male or female, why does it matter? It is just PIR anyway, although I

do not see it as an issue for other races other than District

Championships.

PIR Monday (almost like Tuesday): 26.8mph avg/16 laps

There were two women racing in the "Master's" 1-2-3 field on Monday

night. It actually doesn't (or shouldn't?) matter whether a racer is

male or female; the question should be "is a competitor in the

appropriate category for their skill, fitness & ambition?"

The women who were racing on Monday were strong enough (and skilled

enough) to be there, thus, there was no issue with combining genders.

But then, this was not a Tuesday night event, which may be a slightly

different situation.
