The overall standings after two events. If you are equal on points then
the placing is based on attendance, if you showed up twice and the other
person showed up once you will be higher placed. If equal on attendance
it is based on combined time, I have listed the time if that is the
case.
The weather person is calling for the few showers tomorrow to taper off
early afternoon so let's all hope we get another dry night of racing.
There is some close racing going on in a few of the fields while some
racers have hardly been challenged in their fields. The Cat 3 women,
Tan, SS, Junior, Women 1/2 and 40+ women have had 1-2 riders each week,
either they have all scared off their competition or they are the
hardest of the hardcore to show up each week for the pain that they are
sure to receive.
The cat 1/2 standings are pretty close with Nick Skenzick of Hutch's and
Seth Wilkie of Hayden-Frontier tied on points and only separated by 33
seconds. Omer Kem of Broadmark Capital set the course record last week
at 12:08 which secured him the win and 20 points. If Brian Mitchell of
Hutch's can stay consistent he should be able to hold onto third and is
ready to move up if Nick or Seth have a bad night.

In the Cat 3, 1st and 2nd are separated by 2 seconds. Derek Darves of
Collins Cycles and Richard Sweet of Paul's Bicycle Way of Life should
battle it out to the end. If one of them has a bad night or doesn't make
it out then Ben West of Collins has been performing solid enough to take
over. Jason Thorpe of Uof O Cycling and Eric Kytola of Hutch's are close
behind and ready to strike should the top 3 crack at any time.

Alex Lehnert of EWEB Windpower, Matt Ritzow of Paul's Bicycle Way of
Life and Cameron Bittle of EWEB Windpower are sitting in the same spots
as they have finished each week. Will they continue to place 1-2-3 or
will Matt or Cameron step up and take over Alex.

Out of no where came Joe King, un-attached, posting some super fast
times he has a fairly solid grip on the 4/5 field. Last Week Boyd
Peibenga posted a excellent time, though he will have to topple Martin
Anderson of the UofO Cycling team before reaching Joe. If he performs
like he did last week it will take this week and next week but he could
over take both Joe and Martin. Leaving Ryan Conrad of UofO and John
Barry to fight for top 5 honors.

Always a hotly contested field in the TT's the 40+ field hasn't
disappointed this time either. Brian McBride is leading by 4 points over
Paul Qualttere-Burcher of EWEB Windpower who is only 8 points in front

The 50+ field has seen a large turnout in this suffer fest. Mark Logan
of Hutch's should stay in the top spot as long as he keeps his pace up.
Roger Johnson of River City Wheelman drives 230 miles round trip to race
his bike for 14 1/2 minutes and it has kept him in the number 2 spot.

Erin Luckhardt has a 4 point lead over Beatrix Sunderland-White who in
turn holds a solid 10 point lead over Candy Walker of Paul's Bicycle Way
of Life. Candy sits just 4 points in front of Veronica Sunderland, with
Lauren May just 3 points further down. I can see the 2nd-5th spots being
hotly contested over the next 2 events as long as they all make it out
to the races.
