Parents of Swan Island Crit. racers:



Earlier today we received the shipment of Swan Island Crit. trophies from

our local supplier, GlassTech.



Just want y'all to know that all of the kid's races at this year's Swan

Island Crit will win trophies from River City Bicycles three places deep:

engraved hot-chocolate mugs!



Hope to see you Sunday at Swan Island.

Over $2000 in Primes, Placement prizes and Cash Awards.

Splinter Ren will be announcing the race on this coming Sunday May 23rd.

Highlights of the race include: Equal pay to pro women racers. Kids race

at 1pm. New Single Speed category. Masters 1/2/3 and Master 4/5 catagories.

Fresh brewed coffee and pastries for attendees.

Pro women: At least $350, more depending on attendance. (Placing depth

TBA)

Pro Women Cash Award Provided by Bike Gallery

Pro men: At least $350, more depending on attendance. (Placing depth TBA)

Every race will have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place engraved pint glass courtesy

of River City Bicycles.

Every kid racer is a winner. Prizes courtesy of Finnegan's Toy store.

Special Single Speed Prizes TBA.

Too many prime prizes to list.

Camel back pack and any rental package from the Mountain Shop

Patagonia rain jacket and men and women's active tops.

Gift Certificates from Fred Meyer

Gift Certificates from Bike-n-Hike

Bags of coffee from Peet's Coffee

Gift Certificates from Henery's Caf?

+ many more.

Peet's coffee will be providing coffee through out the whole race day. Fred

Meyer has generously donated pastries for the event.

If you have not done so you can sign up on line and avoid the registration

line at race day. http://www.creclub.com/sic

We still have two spots open for volunteers looking to race for free. Two

slots open at the registration desk from 2pm - 4pm. All volunteers race for

free.

You can download a release and and fill it out in advance before you get

coffee jitters.
