Congratualtions to Steve and Melissa.
Please note that I do not think Steve managed to "hang on". He won the cup by
racing hard all year and totally dominating when neccesary.
Good Job to Steve and Logie Velo. Not bad for a bunch of Old guys with full time
jobs and families.

Congratulations to the first annual Oregon Cup winners:
Melissa Erion of Paradise Homes and Steve Wright of Logie Velo.
Both Melissa and Steve were able to hang on to their lead without having to
race in the season finally in Eugene. There were still a few changes in the
top five with Kirk Willet, Lisa Magness and Larsyn Staley moving up in the
top five and then Craig Demars and Hillary Billington just missing out with
a good showing in the final event. The final prize list is 5 deep and equal
for men and women at $300 for 1st, $200 - 2nd, $150 - 3rd, $100 - 4th and
$50 for 5th. So Congradulations to the top 5: Melissa Erion, Laura Suditu,
Larssyn Staley, Lisa Magness, and Leah Toffolon for the women and Steve
Wright, Kirk Willett, David Auker, Corey Stayton, and John Leonard for the
men. Awards will be handed out at the OBRA banquet. If you have any input
for next years Cup, please forward your thoughts to Jeff Mitchem,
je-@digiwest.com, who was the driving force behind this years event.
