I have an 8th grade student that was saving up for his first bike until, according to him, he lost his money. My guess is that he needed to use it for groceries or bills instead. Despite having a severe learning disability in writing and English being his second language, he has worked his butt off this year in my class. I would like to reward him for that by buying him a used mtb. He is around 5'5" and will grow a little bit yet. Does anyone have a medium mtb they would be willing to sell me relatively cheap? I want to avoid buying him a Fred Meyer brand mtb because I know he won't be able to have it fixed when it breaks down. I have scoured ebay to no avail.
