Better yet, pony up the additional few bucks and buy digital cable. The

odds of ATT adding OLN to your regular cable linup (when they know you

really don't have much choice in Cable services) are about the same as my

chances of bettering Eddy Merckx's hour record, i.e. slim to none

OLNs coverage of Euro cycling, if you haven't seen it), is really great.

It's worth a few bucks a month

Please help add OLN to our local cable service;

CALL 1-800-OUTDOOR to request OLN from your local cable operator. The more

requests the better chance OLN has in being added to your cable lineup! Tell

a friend and keep calling until you get The Leader in Outdoor Adventure!

Here is a blow by blow of my experience;

Dial 800-688-3667 and press 1

Enter your home telephone number

You are transferred to your local cable company (probably AT&T)

Inform the switchboard that you would like to request a channel be added to

service

I was told that the request would be forwarded to the supervisor.

Note that OLN has been available with the upgraded Digital Cable service

available from AT&T Broadband in most of the PDX area. It's a couple $$

more than regular cable, but watching the Giro, Tour and Vuelta live will be

worth it! Hopefully we can get AT&T to put OLN on the basic cable service -

leaving us all with more $$ to spend on bike stuff!
