WANTED: TALL FIXED GEAR FRAME/BIKE"bare" with you? I don't even know you!
However, I do have a broken Mazeratti retro fitted with track dropouts,
fender eyelets and cantelever studs. It needs a downtube transplant. 60cm
C-C. Ugly, chipped paint, chrome head lugs.

Hi,
I'm new to fixed gear equipment, so bare with me. I'm looking for a tall
frame with horizontal dropouts that I can build up as a road commuter fixed
gear. By tall, I mean some thing that is around 63cm seat tube (C-T),
59-60cm top tube, 86cm stand over. I'd also like to be able to put a brake
caliper on it, so I'm less inclined to go with a track specific frame. The
two frames that I've seen that would work are the Gunnar Street Dog 62cm or
the Fuji Track 64cm, but I'd also be interested in old used frames that have
horizontal dropouts.
If you have some used hardware that might meet these specs, or have some
advice to give to a novice, drop me a line. Thanks!
