The Alpenrose Velodrome Challenge is a few short weeks away (July 18-19). Riders will be coming from all over to attend this premier track racing event. Some of the riders will need host housing. Please contact me if you have some extra room for a rider or two. Much appreciated-

If you're interested in hosting any out of town racers, please let me know.
Thanks!

The Alpenrose Velodrome Challenge is coming to Portland July 13-15( http://alpenrosechallenge.com/index.php). I'm coordinating host housing and already have a few requests for housing. If you would like to help out, it would be greatly appreciated! Racers need a place to stay--either a spare room, an extra sofa/futon, or even just some space to spread sleeping bags. This is terrific way to show your support of some very talented athletes. Please let me know if you can help or if you have any questions. Thanks in advance!

Hey OBRA folks-
I still could use a few more spots for host housing. If you can put up a rider or 2, please let me know. I have a rider who is looking to stay somewhere that is cat/dog free due to allergies. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? thanks-
Meg
Hey OBRA!
We have some very talented racers coming to Portland for the Alpenrose Velodrome Challenge (http://alpenrosechallenge.com/, July 15-17. Here's where you can help out. Some folks will require host housing for their time here. If you can put up a rider or two (or three), please let me know. Accommodations don't need to be anything fancy-a spare bedroom, a pull out sofa, a futon, some space on the floor for a sleeping bag, will all work fine.
Please respond sender and thank you very much!!

Good morning!
The Alpenrose Velodrome Challenge (http://www.alpenrosechallenge.com/) is coming up in less than a month. I'm coordinating host housing and already have several requests for housing. If you would like to help out, it would be greatly appreciated! Racers need a place to stay--either a spare room, an extra sofa/futon, or even just some space to spread sleeping bags. It's time to start thinking about hosting some amazing track racers
for the Alpenrose Velodrome Challenge. AVC is July 17-19. The
Alpenrose Challenge is an exciting three-day competition bringing an
international group of elite compeitiors who will compete for over
$12,000 in cash. Racers from Australia, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Canada
and the United States will rub shoulders in intense action.
These racers will descend upon Alpenrose with one thought in
mind--"where the heck am I going to stay?" Many racers depend on host
housing to help offset the cost of racing and travel. If you can
spare a room, a futon, a bed, a sofa, even a pad on the floor, then
you can host a rider. Please let me know how many riders you can host
and I'll take care of the rest. Thanks in advance-
Meg
Alright OBRA-
This is one last plea for host housing before AVC starts up next
week. So far, thanks to the generosity of all the folks near and dear
to OBRA, 25 riders from all over (Trinidad, Seattle, Canada,
California, Texas, Indiana, and Minnesota) have been placed with host
housing. Thank you very much!! But, I have no open spots left. If you
would be willing to open up your home to a rider or two during AVC
(July 18-20), please let me know. Anything you can offer in terms of
space is appreciated-it can be a sofa, a camping pad with sleeping
bag, futon, spare bed, etc. Thank you in advance-
Meg
The Alpenrose Velodrome Challenge is going to be here before you know
it (just over 5 weeks away). On July 18, 19, and 20 hundreds of track
racers will descend upon Alpenrose with one thought in mind-"Where
the heck am I going to stay?" This is where you, the lovely folks of
OBRA, come in. Many of the racers depend on host housing to offset
the cost of racing and travel. If you can spare a room, a futon, a
bed, a sofa, even a pad on the floor, then you can host a rider.
Please let me know how many riders you can host and I will do the
rest. Thanks in advance-

The Alpenrose Velodrome Challenge is just around the corner (July 6,
7, 8)!! I am arranging host housing for those riders from out of town
who otherwise may not be able to race at our lovely velodrome. Please
let me know if you are interested in hosting a rider or two (or
three) for this event. It's a fun and easy way to support OBRA and
the cycling community. Riders can stay in spare bedrooms, on a futon,
fold out sofa, or even on a sleeping bag on the floor. I just need to
know how many riders you would like to take in. Thanks in advance for
your generosity.
Meg
OBRA folks--
Please let me know if you are interested in hosting a rider or two
for the Alpenrose Velodrome Challenge. It's coming up July 7-9. We
have lots of riders coming from Canada and California that are
looking for a place to stay. I'm going to be out of town for a bit,
so I'd like to place as many riders as I can before I leave. The
riders are always very appreciative and it's a fun way to support
bike racing. Drop me an email. Thanks--
Meg
Hey Obra folks--
The Alpenrose Velodrome Challenge will be here in less than 5 weeks.
For those of you not familiar with this event, elite track cyclists
(including Olympians, national champions, international athletes, as
well as our own elite riders) converge upon the track at the
Alpenrose Dairy Velodrome for 3 days of racing thrills and chills.
Here's where you fit in. Many of the out-of-town cyclists need a
place to stay. We're looking for people willing to provide a room or
a bed or a futon, perhaps a sofa or even some floor space for some
very appreciative riders.
If you could put up an athlete or two (or three) in your house,
please let me know what accommodations you can supply. Email or call
(503-452-7786) if you have any questions.
Thanks--

Hey OBRA folks--
I have a family coming up from the San Jose area who needs housing for
the AVC. There will be 3-4 of them. If you have space for them, please
let me know. Thanks!
Meg
Hey OBRA--
The Alpenrose Velodrome Challenge is fast approaching (July 15-17).
Many riders will be coming from out-of-town and will need a place to
stay. If you can help host riders by giving them a room/bed/place to
put their sleeping bag/etc., that would be great.
Please let me know if you would be willing to help out. Thanks--
Meg
A big thank you to OBRA and its members for hosting or offering to host
out-of-town riders. Your generosity, hospitality, and flexibility not
only made my job easy, but also made it easy for the riders to
concentrate on racing and having fun (always important!!). Thanks
again--
Meg
Hey OBRA land--
I'm getting more housing requests as we get closer to AVC.
Specifically, I'm looking for someone who can host 3 riders and their
coach. The riders are part of the National and 2004 Olympic team for
Uruguay and speak very little or no English. Their coach speaks
English, however, so it'd be best to keep them together if at all
possible.
If you have housing for these 4 or any other housing for riders, please
let me know.Thanks--
Meg
Hey OBRA land--
It's that time of year again (no--not the Nordstrom half-yearly sale!).
The Alpenrose Velodrome Challenge is just around the corner (July
16-18). We're looking for people willing to host some out-of-town
riders. All you need to do is supply a room/bed/futon/sofa/floor space
for a very appreciative rider. Then you'll have your very own racer at
the track to cheer for.
Please let me know if you are interested and what accommodations you
can provide. Email or call (503-452-7786) if you have any questions.
Thanks--
Meg
