Hello obra.

Just a quick message to say thanks before my wife and I take off back to

Michigan for nursing school/grad school. I started racing in 1986 (if

you could call it that, I was kinda slow, even for a 13 year old) and

when I quit in 1996, I told myself I would never race again, feeling fed

up with the egos and attitudes of the road racers in the midwest. It

only took 3 months in Oregon before I was back on the bike. Four years

later, and I can't imagine not doing this ever again. Those of you who

have never raced in a USCF state have no idea how fortunate you are,

thanks in large part to the efforts of Mike and Candi. If anyone ever

gets curious, he or she is more than welcome to drive 8 hours with me to

Indiana and pay 30 bucks to ride around cones in a wal-mart parking lot.

Please don't ever take Obra for granted. Thank also to the Hutch's

team in Eugene for taking me in and making feel at home.
