Official US Postal Team supplier hosts month long Tour de France event in P=
ortland
For the second consecutive year, Portland=92s Chris King Precision Componen=
ts is proud to be the
official supplier of headsets for the US Postal Team. In celebration of thi=
s honor, Chris King
Precision Components is excited to be hosting the Tour de France 2004 Happy=
Hour from July 5th =96
25th, between 5-7pm, at the Lucky Labrador Pub, at 915 Hawthorne Blvd.
We're installing Direct TV and a big screen into the building so we can bro=
adcast Outdoor Life
Network=92s (OLN-TV) coverage of the month long stage race. Portland=92s To=
ur fans can unwind from the
day's work while they follow Lance Armstrong and the Postal Team. On the fi=
nal day of the tour we'll
be throwing a party, hopefully in celebration of the record breaking 'sixth=
' consecutive win.
During the month there will be a raffle to raise funds and awareness for th=
e Community Cycling
Center (www.communitycyclingcenter.org). This Portland non-profit organizat=
ion was founded in 1993
with a mission of building skills and fostering the personal growth of yout=
h through
community-oriented recreational and educational bicycle programs and servic=
es.
