I'm looking to buy a cheap, durable commuter bike. Something that will last me a long time and is in good working condition. A steel commuter or one that is a singlespeed would be a plus. I can fit a 58 or larger; am located in Eugene.
I'm inquiring for a co-worker. She's looking for a drop bar commuter bike, something that can be fendered easily, most likely a cross bike or similar. She's about 5'9" and is most likely looking for at about a 55 or 56 cm. Her budget is up to $900 but it better be all inclusive (fenders, rack, etc.) at that price. Preferably not too old. STI would be good.
