that would scare me for quite some time.



Regarding the wheel... was it an older "Trek" Rolf wheel or a new Eugene

made Rolf Prima wheel?



Keep us in the loop on the post-mortem analysis of the wheel please, for

the sake of all of us.

damaged / collapsed Rolf front wheel. I would certainly suggest you

carefully study the damaged equipment to see what can be learned. I

have heard of wheels collapsing and I think a good mechanic may be able

to tell you what happened in the case of the wheel. Maybe the fork was

cracked and gave out?
