I should add that Cascade, Hood, and Elkhorn are great. I was just thinking along the lines of TOW and Redlands/Sea Otter type races. I could see Elkhorn and Hood becoming just as great as Cascade.

I heard that there was enough money to put it own but there was some 'road blocks' that just kept it from happening. I hope they bring something to the NW soon. California shouldn't have two great races and we get none.

One of Phil Busse campaign items was to bring an international week long
bike race in the Willamette Valley.
Eventhough Phil came in third, he is forming a committee that will work on
making several of his agenda items reality and the bike race it one of them.
I am sure that he and his staff will be contacting the good people of OBRA
for info and help, especially those that have put together multi-stage
races.
