Offensive yes, sexist probably not. Specifically; sexist is defined as a man with a chauvinistic belief in the inferiority of women. Do you really believe that comment establishes Mr. Horner as a sexist? I've heard women say the same thing about other women riders and men! In fact, I once heard a very competitive Oregon woman racer in a men's race say "C'mon boys don't be such women" when the men were not taking pulls. And I once heard a women racer say "you guys are riding like a bunch of women" after a stage finish where her teammates apparently didn't try hard enough.
Certainly, Mr. Horner could have come up with better terminology, however, his simple lack of sportsmanship is offensive enough.
