I want to put out a HUGE thank you to all the people that helped us out with

putting on the Alpenrose Challenge. We definitely could not put on this

show without the assistance we get. This ranges from people who volunteered

for single sessions to people that have helped with planning since last

year. It was particularly gratifying to have lots of people there to help

pack up the show after we were done on Sunday as that is a big job when you

are pretty worn out. Having people show up unasked and having that process

go so quickly turned something that can be a downer into something pretty

gratifying. There are way too many people to thank. I have been struggling

for 2 days with trying to figure out who to thank publicly and who to thank

privately and worrying that I might slight someone if I put them on the

wrong list. I have finally come to the conclusion that it would be better

to have a general public thanks. For me, one of the best things about bike

racing is the amount of community that it engenders and putting on this

event certainly brings this out. Thanks very much everyone.
