A quick note on neutralization at PIR:



We had some problems with neutrals last night. Remember, the field

being overtaken needs to hold their line and SLOW DOWN. It doesn't

matter if it is the 50+ Singlespeed Mountain Bike field (no offence to

mnt bikers or old guys. Singlespeeders, feel free to be offended) that

is overtaking the Pro Men, the field being overtaken has to neutralize.

With no officials out on the track, it is the racers responsibility to

communicate neutrals. Riders at the back of the group need to pass the

word forward that you are being neutralized. This is NOT a chance to

attack! If we notice that the pack has split because people attacked

during a neutral, we will neutralize you until you are one big happy

peloton again. Thank you.
