A friend of mine is looking to get a custom paint job on a new (aluminum) road frame. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Brayton

Portland Powder Coating (www.portlandpowder.com
) does bike frames. I looked into it a
while back and was quoted $150 for blasting, masking, and powder
coating. The bike died soon after, so I never got it done. I talked to
Steve (steve@portlandpowder.com ).
Good luck.

I know this topic has been viewed many times.

Does anybody know a painter or powder coating company that will
work with bicycle frames?

Ron

Hi there,

A few days ago I posted a question on here asking about where to get

your frame painted. I got a lot of responses and now people keep e-mailing

me wondering what info I have. So here it is. I got some tech. info but

metal and paint combinations were beyond me.

1) Mitch LaMoure (in Roseburg) 1-800-704-1020

2) Rad Finishes (Gene Powell)     503-239-1134

3) Class Act (Dell Gibbons)       503-281-0806

4) Continental Coatings (didn't get a phone number, but should be

                              yellow pages)

5) ACME Painting (same as above)

It seems like it will cost somewhere between $75 and $150. I hope that

helps you guys (and girls) out.

                                    Brian
