 Dear "Obra-Land",

Some of you race against me know that I fight back problems fairly

regularly

and muscle aches in my right leg. I am at my wits end and have no clue

about

how to cure this chronic hamstring muscle ache. I have written to several

bicycle health advice sites and have been told I may either have a shorter

right leg or a anterior right iliac crest on a bike.

Does anybody know of a GOOD chiropractor, osteopath, physiotherapist or

similar that would be able to determine exactly what the asymmetry or

asymmetries are, whether they are measurable or functional or a

combination

of both attributes and be able to provide with a solution.

I have no idea how to cure or even minimize these symptoms. It's impeding

into my weekly fun time and I'm not happy with some fun.

Vincent Riviere

I also highly recommend Ralph Yates. He has amazing skills in areas

concerning biomechanics.

personally I would start with Michael Sylvester, the fit guru at

bicycle gallery.

I also like Randy Hewitt, DC

 and Stuart Stark, PT

All are bicyclists and have awareness of fit issues.

Ralph Yates, DO likes this work, but he wasn't a great match for me

personally, other folks love him.

Also see the most recent Outside magazine that had an article about

Andy Pruit and the like who are non-MD's doing high end (i.e. expensive)

bicycle fit.

 Good Luck

Subject: [OBRA Chat] Muscle Soreness

Vincent Riviere

personally I would start with Michael Sylvester, the fit guru at bicycle gallery.

I also like Randy Hewitt, DC

and Stuart Stark, PT

All are bicyclists and have awareness of fit issues.

Ralph Yates, DO likes this work, but he wasn't a great match for me personally, other folks love him.

Also see the most recent Outside magazine that had an article about Andy Pruit and the like who are non-MD's doing high end (i.e. expensive) bicycle fit.

Good Luck
