This is my girl friends bike and she just doesn't ride
it. We need to sell it to help pay for the new Euro
Cruiser we bought for her instead!
Details:
Trek 2000 Alpha SL frame with Shimano 9 spd Tiagra,
triple crank and Rolf Vector wheels. It's got short
drop/reach Salsa "Poco" bars with Salsa bar top brake
levers for a fairly upright position. It's got an LX
rear derailleur on it although the original Tiagra one
is available. You can have it with a 11-32 rear
cassette or the original 12-25.
We bought this bike in 2000 and she trained for and
rode Cycle Oregon on it in 2001. Hasn't hardly seen
the road since then. It's very clean and will make a
very nice Cycle Oregon or organized ride type bike for
someone.
I measured the seat tube at 19" c-c (about 48 cm) but
I think it's a 52 as measured by Trek. My girl friend
is about 5'6'.
