I downloaded McAfee's "stinger" program that did a search and destroy

mission and repaired the registry after removing

C:\WINNT\services.exe\services.exe. The offering by Computer Associates did

not work. Needless to say, I will be buying McAfee's software.

My PC has gotten infected with the "MyDoom" virus, version "o" and I am

working to exterminate it. If you get any email supposedly from me that has

an attachment, do not open the attachment!



There are a couple of web sites, Symantec and Computer Associates, that deal

with MyDoom, but Symantec only goes to version.n and .o is the newest.



So don't get overly busy the way I did and open an attachment you're not

sure of.
