Most bike shops lead rides on a regular basis. For instance Lakeside Bicycles in Lake Oswego has rides every Saturday and Sunday leaving at 9. The Sunday rides are 2 to 3 hours long and mellow, no one gets dropped. The Saturday rides, on the other hand, are fairly intense.
All are welcome at both.

I'm an old guy (40) just trying to get back into riding. Either Mtn or road, but I'm looking for some groups to ride with that aren't going out at race pace at every chance. I'm looking more at trying to get back into shape and meeting new people. Is there anything like that out there? Thanks
