I tried to post this two weeks ago but since I attached photos it was

rejected by Topica.

Well..a little late but here is the standard announcement.







Christina, Eli, and I want you to know that little Abigail Christina came

into the world on August 11th, 2004 at 10:08 pm.



She weighed 9 Lbs and was 20 inches long. Mom and baby are doing just fine.

Eli is also very excited about



being a big brother. As some of you may know Christina was, according to our

dating, almost two weeks late



and we were scheduled to have her induced on Thursday the 12th but nature

did it's thing and she began having



contractions most of the day on Wednesday. By 5pm they were coming at 5

minute intervals and I didn't arrive



home from work until around 6:30 so we hurried right to the hospital. By the

time we got checked in around 7:00



Christina was in active labor and feeling every bit of it! After laboring in

the room for an hour or so we got her into the



jacuzzi tub they have on the Maternity floor and she labored there for

around 1.5 hours. She then said that she felt like she



wanted to start pushing so we got her back to the room where the midwife

checked her out and found that she was ready.



After pushing all of 10 minutes little Abby came out. The nurses and the

midwife were amazed that she did it with no pain



meds or an epidural. I told them she is used to pain from living with me!

*kidding*



I am so proud of her and I would never be able to do what she did!
