I ride it from downtown pretty regularly and I like to ride Terwilliger, to
Beaverton-Hillsdale, to Scholls Ferry, to Scholls, S on 219 over Chehalem Mt
thru Newberg, then over the Willamette, left on Champoeg Rd, S. on French
Prairie Rd all the way into Keizer and Salem. 54 miles to my house here in
Keizer, another 5 into Salem. That's a good basic route, and you can mix it
up with some othe side roads. If you're coming from further South than
downtown, you could ride thru Tualatin to Wilsonville Rd and take that west
to Newberg, then head South.
