Hello OBRA riders,



Are you new to the sport of cyclocross? Did you get the 'cross bug

last fall and suffer all summer, waiting for the season to begin? Need

some new gear? Well, if you aren't currently riding for a team, or are

looking for a change, read on…



I am in the process of organizing a Grassroots Cyclocross Team that

will contest events this fall in the Oregon/Pacific NW region. Yes,

this is fairly last minute. I am seeking out interested riders to make

up a core group of about 5-8 people (more welcome if there is enough

interest).



Thanks to the hard work of OBRA and the promoters of the Portland

Cross Crusade Series, Portland has become the most popular region for

all things cyclocross and has become a target market for manufacturers

of cyclocross related goods. ALAN Bicycles, in conjunction with the

Euromedia Group, would like to establish themselves in this region and

are looking for riders to help them get the word out in exchange for a

special team-only deal (frames, clothing, other product).



This is a unique opportunity for those category A, B, or C riders

(male or female, junior, senior, or masters – doesn't matter), who

don't currently have any sponsorship support. Our program doesn't

provide you with free gear, but does have a very attractive pricing

structure.

participating in the local Eugene Twilight Cyclocross race series,

September 7th and 14th, as well as the local Eugene training night for

those wishing to polish up on their barrier hopping skills.
