I ridden wireless for over 15 years and it always, no mater brand, has worked well, night or day. Unless you are riding on top of the next rider, which means you just bit it, there will be know cross talk.

I tried them a few years ago. If you ride at night, your light system will generate enough interference to render it useless. I had a small Planet Bike light on and I rode 77.77 MPH! When I used my NightRIder HID the whole thing just stopped registering. I've tried twice with different brands.
I've never had the lights bugger with a HRM, so I suspect it is the close proximity.
