The 2004 Larch Mountain Time Trial is fast approaching. We wanted to
give some refinement to the preregistration process that we initially
advertised. Details will follow as necessary, but the main points
follow:
-The preregistration deadline is extended two days, to Friday
September 24th at 3pm.
-Start times for preregistered riders will be finalized by the night
before the race. If you preregister, you _will_ know what your start
time is going to be by Friday evening (September 24th).
-Riders who preregister do not need to sign in on the day of the race.
You just need to make sure that you've sent in fees, the waiver, and
be at the start at least 5 minutes before your start time.
-Within a given category, the sooner you preregister, the later your
start will be. That is, the last person to register for a given
category will receive the earliest start time in said category.
Conversely, the first person to register for a given category will
receive the latest start time in said category.
-"Day of" registrants may or may not start within their category,
depending on the number of slots available in their category when they
register. If the desired category is full, the rider will be given a
start time after everyone else is off.
-"Day of" registrants must sign in between 8am and 9am.
Please preregister!
