why not add a silica packet to your baggie - the kind that come in rice cracker packs and says "do not eat". with their highly hygroscopic properties, the vapor ought not be a problem.

I put it in a sandwich bag. SInce I am on call more often than not, and I have kids, I can attest to the fact that you can have a conversation through the plastic, thus never opening the bag. I do it all the time.

I usually seal the bag before the ride, and yes, when I pull it out of my jersey, the baggie is often moist, but as long as I don't open it, the phone itself seems to survive.
