Many thanks to John Wilson for putting on the Junior series. He has obviously come up with a winning formula.

Hood River Double Cross was great. Geri is right the kids rocked and overall had a good time. Both days were a real challenge for all riders. The season is young and we got a healthy dose of wet conditions to get us ready for what will present itself to us in the coming weeks. I miss the frosty conditions we got at Estacada, but believe we are not to worry with nats in Bend. Thanks to all who made the two days of racing a reality for us riders. I was "somewhat concerned" with the "big muddy" today, but I have to say it showed me I can still run (kind of run anyway) and thus made me feel better about the season.
BARLOW awaits us.

HoodRiver Cross was great today. All of my young racers really enjoyed themselves. The races was extremely well run and the kid races were just challenging enough for the different age groups. As a huge bonus we came home with about 50 lbs of fresh just off the tree fruit we bought at local stands.

Thanks to the promoter and his family and all of volunteers.

Agreed! Perfect day. Very well run. Kid's races were a big hit for many of us with future racers. The little kids race was particularly well organized and run by the promoter.

And that guy bunny hopping in the A race the triple barriers at the start finish was impressive too!

My Kids were asking..."Hey Dad? How come you don't do that?".....
