WHAT: Beefeater and the World Adult Kickball Association will host "This is
Kickball. Beefeater Charity Championship," a kickball tournament benefiting
the Lance Armstrong Foundation's Peloton Project. Each team will be playing
to send one local Seattle Peloton Project member to be the first to ride
alongside Lance Armstrong in the 2005 Ride for the Roses. Free food and
drink will be provided to players and attendees. The championship is open to
the public, 21 years old or over.
WHO: Four kickball teams, featuring:
o Local members of the Lance Armstrong Foundation's Peloton Project
o Members of the Seattle Fire Department and Police Department
o WAKA players and local athletes
COST: Encouraging guests and players to make a $2 donation to the Lance
Armstrong Foundation's Peloton Project.
