I will put 200 francs on Auker to take Burney in the sprint. No gear limit.

Brad,

I will take that challenge if we restrict the sprint to no more than 300

meters on level ground or down hill. No up hills against David--I learned

that long ago.

David--wanna race? I will even use the new junior gear limit.

????????????????????????????????

Well, you ARE my junior!

You'd have to be tired first...maybe after a Phil Claud fixed gear ride

on Sauvie Island...

R Randleman sez:

BUT! since we are talking about 80's circa sprints, I say the riders must be on

80's era bicycles with those scary campy friction shifters... whadda ya say

guys?

Probably the reason I sprinted in the 12 in the first place, "bury" the

shift lever all the way forward, so the deraileur is out against the

set-screw to avoid having it shift "unexpectedly..."

How about a Buttitta Foundation for Ethical Individualism (BFEI)

consultation?

HEY!

I would like to see that rematch, and may even throw in some of the prize money

(maybe a charitable event here?).
