As Jon Stewart recently said on CNN's Crossfire:



"Stop, stop, stop, stop hurting America."



Do we really need to fan the flames and continue to

lob "rhetoric bombs" at each other? Do I really want

to know what your political persuasion is? Do we

really want to destroy one of the few things that all

of us have in common - no matter what our backgrounds

and political beliefs are? (I'm talking about a

friendship due to our love of bikes)



Do we really need to have another episode of flaming

each other publicly on a subject where according to

the recent AP polls (If OBRA matches "typical

voters")we are divided equally and are not likely to

change side because of rhetoric from either side.   



I know that we have said (ad nausea) that this list is

for anything and everything, but can we try to make an

effort to keep politics to the non bike lists. (yes,

I know I can delete these messages, and I will).



Do your part as an American and go out and vote, - for

whatever party you feel most comfortable with.
