Another Hit and Run in Washington County.





Just a heads up. A coworker on his way to work this morning noticed a

crumpled bike off the side of the road on West Union just past Cornelius

Pass.



Thinking this was odd, he circled back. On stopping he heard a commotion

and found a high school student who had been hit.



The Boy only remembered flying through the air and not much else.



My friend called 911 and administered first aide until the FD got there

and then spoke to the Sheriffs office.



Young man ended up with a fractured leg, but no other serious injuries.

He was wearing a helmet, but no flashers or bright clothing.



We all need to be careful other there. We may have a bike hater at this

corner, second incident same time of day, or it could just be

coincident.
