Just a gentle reminder that there is a meet the team ride on Saturday for Team

Bridge City. The ride starts at 9 AM at Weir Cyclery, located at 8621 N. Lombard in Portland, OR. There is plenty of parking in the old Safeway parking lot, located 1 block East of Weir's. Team Bridge City is a new team in OBRA and is looking to recruit riders across all ages, categories and disciplines.



The ride tomorrow is expected to last 2 hours and will be a 'meet and greet' ride. No heavy workouts, no street sprints. Just a friendly aerobic effort. The route has not been determined, but will likely lead either to Sauvie's Island or North to Clark County. Afterwards, stop and chat with the club founders to get more information on Team Bridge City as well as sample the local fare at the diners and bakery located in St. Johns.



Directions to Weir Cyclery:

From I-5 - take the Lombard St exit and head West bound. Follow Lombard (aka Hwy 30) to the 'heart' of St. Johns. Weir Cyclery is located one block North of the St. John's Bridge access ramp.



From Hwy 30 - Take the St. John's Bridge exit. Cross the Willammette River into St. Johns. At the base of the bridge on the East bank, you will see a Burgerville and the Portland Police St. John's Bureau bulding (on the right). Go one block to Lombard and make a left.



Weir's Cyclery is located on the corner, across the street from the Starbucks on Lombard. Make a right turn and go 1 block to the old Safeway property. Parking can be found in that area.
