I have a Polar heart rate moniter. The battery has gone dead on the watch. The chest strap is new and should be fine. Anyone want to buy it? Make me an offer.

I have replaced the battery in my Polar 710 with no problems. Polar

doesn't recommend doing it yourself and by doing it yourself you run the

risk of voiding the warrenty but if the unit is out of warrenty I would

just change it and not worry about it. Just make sure it's sealed when

you put it back together. Try not to use anything bigger then a 10 lb

hammer when taking it apart. Good luck.

Many have replied off list and suggested that I should try replacing

the battery myself. Others have suggested some jewelers that might do

it. I will give it a shot. Thanks to all who replied.
