I know of great single track thru nothing but redwood groves. If you go to Prairie Creek redwood state park located off Hwy 101, approx 15 miles south of Crescent City, you will find a 20 mile loop that starts on the main road. I don't recall the trial head marker, so you will have to check with the ranger station located in the park, but this 100% mtn bike legal single track will take you through miles of redwood groves down to the ocean and then a nice climb on the way back. If memory serves correct, Prairie Creek Redwood state park is where they shot a lot of scenes for Return of the Whatever.

i am going to crescent city / redwoods next week on a journey with my brother. He wants to do some mountain biking. anyone out there have some tips on where to ride?

also, if some one had directions on how to get to the "return on the jedi" trail in southern oregon......
