Dear Friends of OBRA,
As people who understand the thrill of riding a bike, I thought you might
like to know about ways you can help little ones get bikes this holiday
season.
The holidays are a particularly hard time for families in need and the
Community Cycling Center wants to help.
Our Holiday Bike Drive makes bicycle dreams come true for 1,000 children
from low-income families. Every child receives a refurbished bicycle, a new
helmet and a festive holiday party. We want you to be a part of this
heartwarming event.

We've collected 800 bikes and we need 200 more IN THE NEXT THREE WEEKS!
Please spread the word that we're still accepting bikes for kids and that we
need more bikes to meet our goal. Bike donations are tax-deductible.

[ CHILDREN ]
As our waiting list gets increasingly long, we're proud to report that 750
children have already been sponsored by supporters like you. Our goal is to
help 1,000 kids. The phone calls from families in need keep streaming in
and we want to be able to say to them, "YES, your little one will get a bike
this holiday season!"

[ VOLUNTEERS ]
We have had 600 volunteers so far helping clean, shine and repair bikes. We
still need another 350 people to help children select those bikes at the
Holiday Bike Drive.
Volunteer Jeff Bernards says, "It brings tears to my eyes just thinking
about the Holiday Bike Drive." Please join us to help children select their
