I have a friend in Beaverton who would like to get into commuting and
recreational riding and he needs a bike. He's 5'10" 170 lbs with a 33"
inseam [size 9.5 if you have shoes too]. He would like to be able to ride on
or off road so I think a MTB or a tweener would be suitable so he can change
tires depending on terrain. I really don't know what to suggest because his
goal is to be able to ride up to 200 miles a week eventually in the summer
months. Does anyone have a starter bike FS? He will spend up to $500. Help!
