Hello OBRA riders:

I have a beautiful Bianchi cyclocross frame + fork* for sale. This bike

isn't the usual celeste blue, but instead, a nice rich metallic

blue/periwinkle with black decals. I really like this color - it is

simple, but seems to zap you the way it stands out. This frame would

make an excellent rain/commuter bike too - it includes eyelets and

bottle cage threads.

:: Size: 58cm (57.0 TT, C-C)

:: Price: $275 obo

:: Photo: http://tinyurl.com/53bfs

(* includes FSA orbit headset, Thomson layback post 26.8, Ritchey stem

120)

This was the predecessor to the current AXIS w/ the checkered flags. I

think it is a model year 2001, but maybe someone else knows. I bought it

fall 2002. I have raced on it for two cx seasons, and it is in great

shape. The only paint damage is scuffing here/there and some scraped

paint around the inner chainstay/chainring area. The glossy clear coat

is worn a little on the heavy friction areas at middle of top and down

tubes (from normal carrying over barriers). Prior to riding this frame,

I rode a Redline and let me tell you, that was like riding a stiff

anchor w/ wheels compared to the nimble, light ride of this Bianchi!

Night and Day difference.

I'm only selling this frame because I currently possess three cross

bikes. One more than I need. I would keep it otherwise as it is a

beautifully rich color of blue. Questions, please email me. Thanks,
