Subject: Jan 28--Teacup Classic race

From earlier emails, most of you know the Teacup Classic

races are Sunday

 Jan 28.

Most of the race flyers we mailed were to out-of-towners

that don't get

Teacup email. For those of you who want to race, it's

cheaper and easier for

me if you copy your race info and registration form from

www.teleport.com/~tcup/   If you want a paper version, let

me know and I'll

mail one ASAP. (Mike Bogar, 503-654-5806,

bog-@teleport.com ) I could

also email the flyer as a Word attachment.

I pull at least one raffle prize from early race

registrants and that

winner(s) is still eligible for other raffle prizes.

Early registratiopn

also helps the race organizers a lot.

We get a wide variety of skiers, from some who have been

on the US team to

people who are trying their first race. If you're

interested, give it a

try. These are classic races, so no skating is allowed.

Men ski 15K; women

 ski 10K, Juniors 5K, youngsters 2.5 or 1.0 K. My forecast

is that skies

will be clear and temperatures in the 20's with a little

bit of new snow.

 (My glasses are rose colored.)

Mike

PS----If you have one or two FRS radios and would let us

use them on race

day, please let me know. The Ski Patrol will be at the

race with their

radios, but the FRS radios are open to anyone to use and

are would be handy

for communication on the course. Contact Mike at

503-654-5806 or
