Cat 4/5 I am sorry I missed you on the resuts. I will be working on these
when I get off of work today. So this will not be until 6 30 ish. I will

First off- a big thank you to all those involved with Cherry Pie.
It's wonderful seeing such great racing.
I understand there were some issues- for the Cat 3's our apologies for
the early start. As you read, Seth has already explained the
situation.
For rider conduct- this happens on a yearly basis but I cannot stress
the importance of good behavior. Urinating between parked cars is the
type of behavior that gets us kicked out venues. Two riders were
seen- about 100 feet from porta potties- going- in full view of a 4
year old girl. Not good guys.
If the officials say 1 lane for a finish- they mean it. Going on the
other side of the line can be dangerous and is unfair to other riders.
Be nice to volunteers. Thank them. Without volunteers our races
don't happen.
Crashes- I heard there were a few. Heal up quick to those who went down.

We were out on the course this weekend putting up signs and looking for pot holes. The roads look good, and we're hoping for a repeat of last year's weather.
Registration will be indoors across from Adair County Park. We have permission to park in the Park parking lot, same as last year. You may also park at the high school and along Ryals/Arnold. Please avoid driveways and the church parking lot.

I agree with your points Dan, well stated. Crashes happen. But if the
officials can do anything to mitigate the severity a crash, or plan for
tragedy by staggering finish times, I think they should do it.
I don't race road very often. Why? 'Cuz I am afraid of the crashes! Not just
for myself, but I would hate to be the guy the ruins someone else's season
because of my mindlessness.
I think this forum is perfect for allowing everybody a voice in how to make
racing safe and fun for everyone. It is good to hear that the promoter has
taken the time to work things out for next year, and present it in a public
forum for all to see.
