Hello Candi,

I am not sure what all has been said in the previous

emails about the Cat 1/2/3 results. There is no

reason to void the top 5 of the results for the Cat

1/2/3 race.

About 4 miles to go Dave Whitlow drove next to the

break in his Volvo and told us that we were sprinting

for the one 1k mark. The break was at a minute plus

ahead at that time and glad to finish. All five

member in the break were clear about the new finish

line, not that it really mattered because of the two

Valley Athletic guys from Olympia which were really

strong. With about 4km to go, I jumped and Rob

Campbell jumped onto my wheel. At that point, I

decided to cut my loses and towed him to the new

finish line. The other three riders came in about 50

yards back.

After the finish, I asked an office if it was over and

he said yes, and I pulled off the road to talk with my

wife. We spoke for a bit before the field came by

trying to sprint with riders finishing etc. The break

would of easily made it to the line in time. I was

out there for 60 miles. In my head I got second. You

do what you wish the results. It was a great ride.

The offices have the results for the break if not I

sure the riders will speak up. We came in all by

ourselves and same riders were off the front all day.

In all fairness we cannot pick results for these

groups. Thank you for

your understanding but the results will be voided.
