Freinds, some info for those who are interested from our friends at the BTA:

The BTA is working to pass two bills this session: Bicyclists Rights
and Safe Routes to School. The first, SB 938 - Bicyclist Rights, had
its First Reading last week at the request of the Senate Judiciary
Committee. It will be assigned a committee soon. More to come.
Find the bill on the BTA website, www.bta4bikes.org, or on the Oregon
Legislature webste, on at http://www.leg.state.or.us/bills_laws/ ,
click 2005 Regular Session, SB 938.
