I dont know much about the frame. I bought it off roadbikereview.com in
2003 to build
up a TT bike. It is aluminum with aero down and top tubes and curved
chain
stays.
If you are looking for an TT/tri bike with out dropping over $1000, this
is
your new bike. Add a disk or Trispoke and it is the real deal. If you
are
trying to make the National Team, keep shopping. This is a good bike and
I
have done many TTs on it. It was a good way for me to get a TT bike with
out
the wife getting mad.
Did you catch the 8/9 speed mix? I had it set up as 8 speed with a rear
disk,
but all of my wheels were 9spd and I wanted to be able to train on the
bike
with the traing wheels that are included. I put the shifters on
friction,
installed the 9 speed der and it works great. Ended up with 9 speed race
wheels and left it as is. I have a new TT bike so this one needs to go.
