FOR SALE: Zipp 404 tubular wheelset, w/ Continental Sprinter 250 tires
mounted.
Shimano 8/9/10 compatible. No skewers or bags. The tires are in very good
condition. The wheels were purchased in 2001. Most of the time since then,
they have been collecting dust in wheel bags in my garage. They are only
very slightly used. I raced on them 3 times in time trials and 3 times at
PIR. Similar Zipp wheels have recently sold on Ebay for between $800 - $900
and new ones have an SRP of $1600, so $700 is a good deal for some deserving
local racer. The wheels are light and fast; perfect for time trials,
triathlons, road races, PIR, etc. I am selling them because I have too many
sets of race wheels and have switched to clinchers for the road.
I live in Beaverton and can arrange convenient pickup or delivery.
